I am looking for some specimens (male + female) of Gambusia affinis and Gambusia holbrooki, for an exhibition in the Netherlands. I will make an installation on the theme "different sexual reproduction strategies".
Specifically I need the strains of G. holbrooki which practice forced copulation (I believe all holbrooki do this, but there might be aquarium strains with changed behavior). On the other hand, the G. affinis should do their buiness the normal way.
Any help in obtaining some individuals is appreciated. Alternatively, pointers to locations in Europe where such fish can be collected.
